Servicing and Repairs
We provide bicycle repairs in East Sussex. Both our shops in Forest Row and Lewes have comprehensive bike servicing facilities, with Cytech qualified mechanics. Future Cycles' service department offers excellent value and can undertake anything from a puncture repair on your bike tyre to a complete custom bike build. We have listed our cycle service menu below to help give you an idea of how much it may cost to get your cycle repaired. All varieties of bicycles are welcome.

Service Options
Tune-up £35
plus parts- Adjust brakes and gears, clean and lubricate transmission
- Safety check and list any recommendations
Recommended for relatively new bikes or those with very little use
General Service £59
plus parts- Full function safety check and adjustment of all components, degrease and lubricate as required
- Adjust gears, brakes, hubs, headset, bottom bracket (if relevant)
- Fit any required replacement brake blocks, gear and brake cables and tyres
- True and tension wheels, inflate tyres to correct pressure
- Wipe down of frame and forks
If we need to clean your bike to enable us to service it, there will be an extra charge of £10
Full Overhaul £129
plus parts- Complete strip-down, degrease, clean and inspection of all components.
- Check bike for faults including alignment of frame and forks
- Re-assemble bike with new brake and gear cables
- Grease hubs, headset, bottom bracket, brake bosses and seatpost and lubricate transmission
- True and tension wheels, inflate tyres to correct pressure
- Adjust all components as required
- Fitting of any required replacement parts included
For anything
that falls outside the scope of the service, standard charges will be applied.
The mechanic will make sure to give
you an idea of work and cost expected to be done when
the bike is booked in. In the case that extra work only becomes
apparent once the service has started we shall endeavour to contact you to
discuss.

For all other work our workshop rate is £45 per hour. Removal of seized or badly corroded parts will be charged at our hourly rate. We reserve the right to charge £2.50 per day storage for any bikes not collected within 7 days of us notifying you that the bike is ready for collection.
